The European Microfinance Network (EMN) was created in April 2003

with the financial support of the European Union and the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC). Its founding members are in France the Adie (Association for the right to the economic initiative), in the United Kingdom the nave (new economics foundation) and in Germany EVERS & JUNG. The EMN has the status of association law 1901 and was officially registered at the prefecture of Paris on May 23, 2003.
