Student loan
A student loan is a bank loan intended to finance higher education . This type of loan is generally characterized by interest rates low and a deferred repayment of the amount borrowed, usually starting at the entrance to the borrower in the active life 1 .
Depending on the country, lending organizations may be public, such as the public company Student Loans Company in the United Kingdom , or private, such as Sallie Mae in the United States .
